Sui was created using a programming language called Move by former employees of Meta Platforms (META), which is also utilized in the Aptos blockchain. Suiswap, a liquidity staking protocol, and decentralized exchange similar to Uniswap on Ethereum, are among the initial projects scheduled to launch on the mainnet.
