Billy Markus, who also goes by Shibetoshi Nakamoto, is the co-creator of Dogecoin. Nonetheless, he has occasionally expressed that he has no connection to the meme coin. Markus recently tweeted an FAQ that addressed some of the inquiries regarding DOGE and himself.
Q: do you represent doge?
Q: do you have any professional involvement with doge?
A: no. haven’t touched it for 10 years.
Q: are you jealous of the success of other coins and tokens?
A: i literally don’t care, i just don’t like being harassed and attacked for clout.

The most important question in the FAQ was whether or not Markus is affiliated with DOGE. He replied that he was not. The second question was about whether he had had any professional dealings with the meme coin. Markus stated that he has not been involved with it for ten years.
Markus also mentioned another question in the FAQ where he was asked if he felt envious of the triumph of other tokens and coins. In response, Markus said, “I literally don’t care, I just don’t like being harassed and attacked for clout.”
