Since its creation, Dogecoin has made significant strides. The meme-inspired cryptocurrency, illustrated with the Shiba Inu dog symbol, has risen in prominence over time. DOGE gained widespread recognition after Elon Musk tweeted about it being one of his preferred digital currencies.

Billy Markus, who also goes by Shibetoshi Nakamoto, is the co-creator of Dogecoin. Nonetheless, he has occasionally expressed that he has no connection to the meme coin. Markus recently tweeted an FAQ that addressed some of the inquiries regarding DOGE and himself.

Dogecoin creator doesn’t represent DOGE

The most important question in the FAQ was whether or not Markus is affiliated with DOGE. He replied that he was not. The second question was about whether he had had any professional dealings with the meme coin. Markus stated that he has not been involved with it for ten years.

Markus also mentioned another question in the FAQ where he was asked if he felt envious of the triumph of other tokens and coins. In response, Markus said, “I literally don’t care, I just don’t like being harassed and attacked for clout.”

Markus further clarified that he made DOGE for entertainment ten years ago. He also highlighted that the cryptocurrency realm has become more foolish with people attempting to dump their assets on each other. The creator of Dogecoin also appealed to people to refrain from bothering or harassing him.
