As the team has been talking more about Shibarium in recent times, they decided to drop some updates on SHIB: the Metaverse. Shiba Inu’s official Twitter account tweeted about unveiling the secrets of Rocket Pond. Additionally, they also added details about a new contest where people can participate and win some land.

Shiba Inu team asks community to brace for major reveal
In September 2022, the Rocket Pond concept was initially introduced. The SHIB army was presented with art concepts for 11 metaverse hubs, and Rocket Pond was among them.
The team shared a black-and-white sketch of the Rocket Pond, which is referred to as a “hidden resort” within the future SHIB metaverse.
Details have surfaced that the rocket pond was inspired by several famous places in the US, including Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and Lake Tahoe. It is not yet verified whether the Rocket Pond project will include all the mentioned features. According to the latest blog post, the Metaverse team has made changes to the project’s plans and objectives.
The popularity of the metaverse has recently fallen. While several prominent industry behemoths have jumped on the bandwagon, many are retracting from their initial plans.
However, the Shiba Inu team seems confident about the metaverse. This is all because of the strong SHIB army.
