Taiwan Can Become an ICO Hub, Says Legislator Jason Hsu

The half a billion dollar theft in Japan on the Coincheck Exchange could be a cautionary tale for Taiwan, which has been looking to possibly fill the cryptocurrency void in Asia following the crackdowns in China and South Korea.

Jason Hsu, Taiwan legislator who spearheaded the passing last month of a new fintech innovation law (aka FinTech bill), tells Bloomberg that Taiwan needs to become tech-relevant again.

He further explains that they have gotten rid of many red tapes that usually thwart innovation in the country. Source
